The science of saponification is, in the considered estimation of this Works, one of the more elegant chemical processes available to the domestic artisan — ancient in its origins, precise in its requirements, and entirely unforgiving of carelessness.

Every bar begins with USDA-certified organic oils and butters, locally sourced wherever the geography of this great state permits, and is cured for no fewer than four to six weeks. Because remarkable things, as any serious chemist will confirm, cannot be hurried.

Our flagship Wisconsin-Brewed Beer Soap® celebrates the cities, regions, and Wisconsin-isms of our great state, one small-batch bar at a time. Saponified exclusively with beer from independent Wisconsin breweries — with the hops from these brews being naturally antibacterial, the amino acids produced by them being genuinely epidermically nourishing, and the sugars produced giving each bar a disaccharidal lather boost — they are scented with phthalate-free fragrances procured directly from Chippewa Falls, WI.

The collection also houses the Artisanal Soapworks, Seasonal Lines & Limited Editions, along with any possible future lines — all compounded with the utmost seriousness from our fully equipped, regulatorily compliant, domiciled, marine adjacent artisan production facility.
